0107 Late Model Ford Power Bleeder
The 0107 Late Model Ford Power Bleeder works on most late model Ford cars and light trucks. The bayonet-type adapter pushes on to the master cylinder reservoir and locks with a twist. Connecting the adapter and bleeding your brakes is quite simple.
This kit includes the tools you need to bleed your brakes and clutch. Pays for itself the first time you use it.
Application
Note: If your late model Ford (~1986 and later) has a round master cylinder reservoir cap and removes with a slight twist and lifts straight up, then check the adapter to see how many locking lugs the cap has. If your cap has three locking lugs (or tabs), then this is the kit for your vehicle. If the cap has two lugs then you will likely need the 0106 Two Lug Power Bleeder.

Tips
BEFORE YOU START - Before you start bleeding or flushing your brake system, remove the old brake fluid in your master cylinder reservoir with an old, clean, turkey baster or other suction type device and then replace it with fresh fluid. By doing this you'll be certain that the fluid entering the lines is fresh and you'll minimize the amount of new fluid you'll use in order to clean out the old fluid.
CLUTCH - Some clutches have a separate fluid reservoir and are isolated from the braking system. If the reservoir mouth is the same diamter and configuration as the master cylinder then you will attach the Power Bleeder adapter directly to the to the clutch reservoir. If it is not the same size/configuration, you will need a different adapter to bleed the clutch.
Many other clutch systems share the same reservoir or have a slave reservoir off of the brake master cylinder reservoir. To bleed these clutches, you will connect the pressure bleeder to the master cylinder.
ATTACHING THIS ADAPTER - The late model Ford adapters are easy to install provided you know this simple procedure:
- Align the lugs on the adapter with the keyways (cutouts) in the reservoir mouth.
- Push the adapter down on the reservoir until it seats.
- Twist the adapter to seal.
